Bobcat Badge Requirements

Have mom or Dad sign off on each of the items below and make sure to bring your handbook to each meeting so I can record how well you are doing!

1) The Cub Scout Promise

I, __________________, promise to do my best. To do my duty to God and my country. To help other people, and To obey the Law of the Pack.

2) The Law Of the Pack

The Cub Scout follows Akela* (Ah-KAY-la). The Cub Scout helps the pack go. The pack helps the Cub Scout grow. The Cub Scout gives goodwill.

(*Akela means "good leader" to a Cub Scout. Akela is your mom or dad. Akela is also your den leader, and cub master. At school Akela is your teacher.)

3) Webelos (We-buh-lows) means:WE'll BE LOyal Scouts

4) The Cub Scout sign (right hand)

5) The Cub Scout Shake

6) The Cub Scout motto:

Do Your Best!

7) The Cub Scout salute.

Salute with your right hand. Hold the first two fingers close together. Touch your fingertips to your right eyebrow. If you are wearing a cap, touch them to the brim of your cap!

8) With your adult partner, complete the "Bobcat Requirement" section in the front of your Tiger Cub handbook.
